SDS was formed in 2008 to increase product access for Dental Practitioners working in Specialised areas of practice. The company was formed in response to the fact that for years many practitioners had been personally importing products from overseas that could not be obtained from existing New Zealand Dental Supply Companies. Unlicensed self importation is now deemed an unacceptable practice by the medical device importing authorities in New Zealand. |
SDS seeks out products currently being personally imported by clinicians or new products being used overseas that are not currently available in New Zealand. Often the products are specialised and are of relatively low volumes. As a primarily web based company SDS can control its overheads to make these smaller volume specialised products available.
We know that in modern dental practice a web based ordering system is highly efficient and accurate. Records of your purchases are clearly documented and past orders you have made with us are available for audit and accounting purposes. The Credit Card based payment system gives the advantage of the purchaser gaining loyalty credit card points.
SDS would welcome any suggestions of products that are not yet available in New Zealand and we will make an effort to make them available on the New Zealand Market place for you.
